Registration changes for Ciociaro

Many of you will be aware that Ciociaro is changing their registration process this year and you must pre-register to be able to ride.

Also, all adults will need a valid UCI license.

The Ciociaro Cycling Club will offer all US Juniors free entry and they will only need a USAC license. Juniors will be required to pre-register for $0.

License Renew Time

USACycling LogoThe start of the road season is just around the corner.  What are your goals for the coming year? Maybe you’re looking to upgrade, race for a national title, or try out a new discipline.  Whatever you hope to accomplish get off on the right foot today by renewing your USA Cycling racing license. You can renew right now through your My USA Cycling account. Manage your "My USA Cycling" account from anywhere!

You can also use the “My USA Cycling” app on your iPhone or Droid to renew your license. These apps will even give you quick access to your account, race results, rankings, upcoming events, and more. You can even show proof of your license from your phone, and register for new events.

Elections

The MBRA will be holding elections for the following positions, Junior Development Director, Director of Officials and Vice President/Permit Coordinator. Below are descriptions and job responsibilities. Applications for each position will be available in mid-January. Elections will take place in early February.

Big Bad Wolf in Midland Reduces Rates to Encourage

The promoters would like to announce a major race fee reduction to help encourage groups that are traditionally under-represented to race in the event. All Junior Racers who are not in the A/B/C/1/2/3 category races will only pay $5. All women no matter the age will only pay $10 to race. Any rider participating for the first time will be free! If you don't have a cyclocross or road racing license, there will be a $10 fee for a one-day license to cover the insurance and USACycling fees. There will also be no late fees, and same day registration will close 30 minutes prior to each race. We have lots of prizes and give-a-ways, including a $200 Gore jacket from Alpenhaus Productions and beer from the Midland Brewing Company. Level C Moto Clinic

The Illinois Cycling Association will be hosting a Level C moto ref clinic at the end of February in the Chicago area. This clinic is designed help teach C level officials the basics of working races on the back of a motorcycle.
